- The cable car does not admit pregnant guests, people with cardiovascular conditions or children under 3 because of altitude.
- Guests with physical or motor impairments cannot use the cable car because safe emergency evacuation cannot be guaranteed.
What to bring
- For the cable car, closed hiking or sports shoes with high-grip, non-slip soles are required; open, flat-soled or platform shoes are not accepted.
- If you use the upper-station trails, wear hiking boots and carry long trousers (worn or packed) and a fleece or equivalent warm layer.

Do I need a crater permit?
No. This tour's cable car only reaches La Rambleta, the upper station - it never continues to the crater. Reaching the crater requires a separate guided ascent with its own National Park permit, sold as a different excursion.
